AI image that adapts

Email is still the most common entry point into an organization. In a large organization, just one careless click among thousands of messages is enough to open the door to ransomware or an invoice scam. Barracuda Email Protection combines AI-powered threat detection, automated response, and Microsoft 365 backup into one solution, no separate tools are needed.

Barracuda was among the first to implement AI in email security in 2017. Thanks to this experience, Barracuda detects threats that Microsoft 365’s own protection lets through. In fact, 47% of threats detected by Barracuda are missed by M365’s own protection.

When a malicious message gets through, Barracuda automatically identifies and removes all its copies from the organization. No manual searching or IT team alerts in the middle of the night are needed. User errors made by accident, such as messages sent to the wrong address or clicking a dangerous link, can also be quickly corrected.

Microsoft itself recommends third-party backup because it does not guarantee M365 data recovery in case of damage. Barracuda backs up email, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams data with unlimited storage. Recovery is fast, even if data has been deleted or encrypted due to ransomware.

xdr shield

A modern attack does not progress on a single front. It can start from email, spread to an endpoint, and advance to the network. This can happen so quickly that an internal IT team cannot react in time, even if they have the expertise. Barracuda Managed XDR brings 24/7 visibility into the entire attack chain and reinforces your own team with Barracuda’s award-winning SOC team.

24/7 Monitoring
Continuous monitoring of your environment to detect threats around the clock.

Security Experts
Experienced security analysts investigate alerts and validate threats.

Threat Hunters
Proactive threat hunting helps uncover hidden attacks before they escalate.

Extend

Protection extends everywhere to endpoints, servers, network, email, and cloud services (IaaS, SaaS, IAM).

D

Detect

Billions of events are automatically collected and analyzed from over 40 integrated sources, including complex attacks such as credential compromises and ransomware.

R

Respond

When a threat is detected, Barracuda’s 24/7 SOC and automation respond using predefined instructions and automatic measures.

In practice, this means that an attack that could have previously crippled an organization for weeks is resolved with Managed XDR on the same day, often before anyone in the organization even notices anything has happened.

AI tools have become part of everyday life faster than organizations’ security policies could adapt. Employees copy company data to ChatGPT and upload files to unknown AI services, without the IT department seeing or being able to control this. Barracuda’s AI Security solution provides visibility and control over AI usage as part of a broader network security platform.

AI security

The solution inspects all traffic, including encrypted traffic, and detects files and prompts sent to AI services. This way, the organization sees what information employees are inputting into AI tools and can intervene in risky usage in real-time.

Many current attacks leverage social engineering tactics and mimic legitimate user traffic. The solution operates directly on the traffic path and it monitors all traffic and blocks unauthorized connections, including those directed to AI services.

Traditional VPN is replaced by a Zero Trust model: users and partners securely access business applications and cloud services, without unnecessary privileges or a broad attack surface. Deployment is fast, and pricing is predictable, with unlimited usage per user.

Prevent sensitive information from being uploaded to AI tools.
